For those of you searching for a new MetroBook SX - SSB-650ELS battery, I can offer these words: MetroBook charges way too much for their batteries, and I think you can get a better bargain when you buy from a third party vendor. Recently we looked for pricing and stumbled across a brand new MetroBook SX - SSB-650ELS for only $88.16 at eBatts. The same battery is normally $122.99, but recently the price has dropped. eBatts ships very fast (my order from them awhile ago and got my order in about a week). Something else you might try is searching on Craigslist or Kijiji (links open in a new window). Craigslist can be hit and miss, and so can Kijiji so don’t get burned when you shop online.
